Harley-Davidson manufactured five clashing Electra Glides classics between 1999 and 2005. All corner the traditional Harley V-Twin engine organic with dual exhaust pipes. All Classic models manipulate pipes that bolt to the exhaust ports on the engine heads and then secure to the frame via a bracket located on the lower left side of the frame. There are countless aftermarket exhausts that you can retrofit onto your Harley Classic.
Instructions
Manipulate a socket and ratchet to remove the bolts.4. Establish the Allen bolts that secure the tailpipe to the bracket on the lower left side of the frame.
2. Set the Allen bolts that secure the tailpipe to the bracket on the lower left side of the frame. Remove the Allen bolt with an Allen wrench and remove the cylinder from the Harley.
3. Remove the two bolts that secure the exhaust channel to the exhaust Harbour on the rear cylinder of the engine. This is the cylinder adjacent to the rear of the bike.1. Remove the two bolts that secure the exhaust main to the exhaust Harbour on the front cylinder of the engine. This is the cylinder succeeding to the front of the bike. Benefit a socket and ratchet to remove the bolts.
Remove the Allen bolt with an Allen wrench and remove the tube from the Harley.
5. Deposit the aftermarket cylinder against the rear cylinder exhaust Harbour and secure it with the two bolts, socket and ratchet.
6. Secure the tailpipe to the bracket on the lower left frame with the Allen bolt and the Allen wrench.
7. Assign the aftermarket drainpipe against the front cylinder exhaust Harbour and secure it with the two bolts, socket and ratchet.
8. Secure the tailpipe to the bracket on the lower left frame with the Allen bolt and the Allen wrench.
