The Lincoln Navigator is a luxury SUV equipped with a front headlight meeting that and contains the marker lights and turn signals. The rear turn signals are part of a multi-purpose taillight assembly that also contains the brake lights, the marker lights and the back-up lights. If one of your Navigator's turn signals is not working, it likely means that the bulb is burned out. You can replace the bulb yourself in just a few minutes.
Instructions
Front Blinker Bulb
1. Turn the ignition and the headlight switch off.
Open the Navigator's rear liftgate to expose the taillight assembly mounting screws.10. Remove the two screws.
3. Pull the assembly forward away from the vehicle. This will give you access to the rear panel of the assembly.
4. Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the headlight housing. The turn-signal bulb is in the middle socket.
5. Pull the bulb out of the socket and insert the new one.
6. Insert the socket into the headlight assembly. Rotate it clockwise to lock it into place.
7. Reposition the headlight assembly and replace the two mounting screws. Close the hood.
Rear Blinker Bulb
8. Turn the ignition and headlight switch off.
9.2. Open the hood. From the front of the vehicle, remove the two screws at the top of the headlight assembly lens that attach it to the Navigator.
Pull the taillight assembly straight back away from the vehicle. This will expose the bulb sockets.
11. Turn the middle socket counterclockwise to release it from the assembly and pull it out.
12. Pull out the old bulb and insert a new one.
13. Insert the socket into the taillight assembly and lock it into place by turning it clockwise.
14. Reattach the taillight assembly and replace the two screws. Close the liftgate.
