The Plymouth Voyager was one of Chrysler's entries in the minivan marketplace in the mid-1980s. Remove the Tie Rods
1. Road test the vehicle for handling.
Loosen the comfiture seed on the inner tie rod-to-outer tie rod. Comment the position of the tie rod on the inner tie rod threads with a matchmark.
3. Mastery the tie rod cusp stud with an 11/32 socket. Loosen the kernel and remove it with a box wrench, then remove the tie rod-to-steering knuckle follower.

Install the Tie Rods
5. Position the dewy tie rod confine on the inner tie rod threads. Turn the tie rod edge on the threads the duplicate character of turns that was required to remove it.
6. Connect the tie rod end to the steering knuckle. Put the outer tie rod-to-steering knuckle nut in place and tighten it with a 11/32 socket and a crowfoot. Torque the nut to 40 ft. lbs. then put in a new cotter pin.
7. Verify the toe setting. Adjust the setting by turning the inner tie rod. Take care not to twist the boot. Torque the jam nut to 55 ft. lbs.
8. Put the front wheels on the vehicle and install the lug nuts. Tighten the lug nuts to 95 ft. lbs.
9. Take the vehicle off the supports or lower the rack. Check the wheel alignment and make the necessary adjustments. Hoist the vehicle or uplift the vehicle front on secure supports. Returns off the front circle and tires assemblies.2. Convenience a wire brush to soak the tie rod threads with penetrating oil.
