Instructions
1. Stand the hood of your Cadillac. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
This will often stop the leak. If this does not fix the leak, remove the bolts and replace the gasket. Then tighten the bolts. Make note of any changes in engine speed or idle quality. If any are noted, this is where the leak is.
3. Determine whether the leak is coming from a hose or from a gasket. If a hose is leaking, either replace the damaged section or replace the hose completely.
4. Tighten the bolts of any area where a gasket leak is found.2. Spray the carburetor cleaner around the various fittings of the engine. Do this in short, quick sprays.
