5. Install the new rotor onto the hub and tighten the holding screws. Use a torque wrench to replace the knuckle assembly and hub, lower arm mounting bolts, ball joint mounting bolts and reconnect the ball joint.
6. Fasten the castle nut and split pin. Use mechanic's wire to suspend the caliper and connected brake line out of the way while you work. Be careful not to let the brake line get disconnected from the caliper.3. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the knuckle and then disconnect the tie rod end ball joint from the knuckle as well. Put the wheel assembly and tire back together.
7. Repeat this process for each additional rotor. Replace all of the rotors at once, or at least the front or rear end pair. After the installation, lower the SUV, tighten and torque the lug nuts on each tire. Test drive your Santa Fe to make sure that everything is working properly.
