Replace Rear Disc Brakes Inside A Volkswagen Beetle

Replace the wheels on the Beetle. Lower the car to the ground and pump the brakes to seat the pistons and brake pads. Grip children and animals outside of the vicinity when you moderate the brakes.


2. Remove the rear wheels and tires from the vehivle. Bag a torque wrench and loosen the lug nuts. Receive the assemblies off and fix them aside, face up, to prevent damage.

5. Secure the hand brake cable to the caliper. Verify that it operates properly and adjust if necessary.


6.1. Lift the rear of the Beetle off the ground with a motorcar jack. Flotation it on all sides with jack stands.
