The 1988 Toyota Corolla is equipped with two speakers in the front of the vehivle -- one in the driver-side door and one in the passenger-side door. The factory-installed speaker is a round 6-1/2 inches in calibre. Many compatible aftermarket speakers can be purchased as replacements. Installation of the replacement speakers requires Emigration of the door panels with handwriting tools.
2. Remove a Phillips screw from the trim lot surrounding the door-release application. Pry up the armrest pad with a panel thing and remove two Phillips screws from underneath the pad.
Instructions
1. Pry away the triangular trim panel at the top border of the passenger door with a panel baggage.3. Pry sorrounding the backside and side edges of the door panel with the panel belongings to detach the clips. Lift the panel off the door.
4. Remove four Phillips screws from the limits of the speaker. Pull the speaker elsewhere of the door and unplug the connector on the back of the speaker.
5. Plug the dissimilar speaker into the connector. Analysis the speaker, then mount the fresh speaker with the Phillips screwdriver. Exchange the door panel and trim.
6. Repeat Steps 1 complete 5 for the driver-side door.
