Adjust A Clutch On The 2002 Suzuki Aerio

In older vehicles, the clutch on a textbook transmission was busy and disengaged by a cable that was connected to the clutch pedal. Over generation, this cable would stretch and essential to be adjusted. This step was eliminated by the hydraulic clutch method. The hydraulic transaction is not flawless though. Instructions


1. Sincere the Aerio's hood and allot the slave cylinder, the mini Element on the top of the transmission with a hydraulic contour screwed into it. Attach the 1/4-inch rubber hose to the bleeder valve, the 1/4-inch metal valve at the top of the slave cylinder.


2. Pour approximately 3 inches of DOT3 brake fluid into the Disinfected slender container. Distance the costless edge of the 1/4-inch hose into the container of brake fluid so that the extensive extremity is submerged in the brake fluid.


3. Demonstrate your assistant to press and Proceeds the clutch pedal four or five interval and then Celebrate the pedal down.


6. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until no bubbles come from the hose.7. Locate the clutch master cylinder reservoir, the small plastic reservoir next to the brake master cylinder, under the Aerio's hood.


5. Close the bleeder valve by turning it clockwise, using a combination wrench. Instruct your assistant to release the clutch pedal.


4. Free the bleeder valve by turning it counterclockwise with a combination wrench while your assistant holds the pedal. Watch as bubbles come from the hose and into the brake fluid.


Open the clutch master cylinder's lid and check the fluid level, it must be between the "Min" and "Max" marks. Add fluid from the small container as needed.
