Install An S10 Four Link

You can install a four-link suspension with fist tools.


The installation of a four-link rear site on a Chevrolet S-10 allows you to attain a yet lower stance in the Motor lorry. The four-link suspension completely replaces the rear leaf-spring suspension with an air suspension setup. The downside to installing a four-link is the danger of a burst air column or damaged compressor, which would target the suspension to backside away right below the end at which parts such as the frame and object could be damaged while attempting to coerce to where the parts can be repaired.

3. Install the four-link suspension's round axle retainers over the axle, securing them with U-bolts and shackles, then mount the air bags to the frame, and the replacement shock absorbers to the Motor lorry's shock mounts.4.



1. Jack up your Chevy S-10 and block the frame and rear axle on jack stands with the suspension fully lenghty, then remove the rear wheels and tires.2. Unbolt and remove the needle springs and rear shock absorbers from the Motor lorry, leaving the rear axle in apartment on the jack stands.


Install the front of the four-link suspension by lifting the mounting cradle which fits against the Motor lorry's frame and bolting it to the frame using the mounting hardware included with the suspension tools.


5. Install the duo of centre links by bolting the round axle supports of the center links to the axle on the inboard side of the air bags with shackles and U-bolts, then bolting the centre links to the Motor lorry's frame using the supplied mounting hardware.


6. Route the lines from the air compressor and inflate the air bags, then reinstall the wheels and remove the Motor lorry from the jack stands.
