Kia Beginning Problems

Kia is immensely general for manufacturing aspect sedans, minivans and coupes at prices that don't rent the bank. On at least three seperate occasions the Korean vehivle manufacturer has been forced to commemoration some of its models due to problems that caused engine starting or running problems. Moreover, Internet buletin boards dealing with van problems are populated with Kia machine owners reporting problems with engine start-up or stalling.


Sephia Recall


Kia recalled its Sephia models manufactured in 1998 and 1999 for two contrasting reasons, Everyone of which impacted the engine's capacity to begin or cache running. One fame involved replacing two connectors that over lifetime could corrode and wrinkle the size of fuel that could enter the fuel pump, causing the engine to stall. The moment fame occurred after it was discovered that some cars had a beggared fuel pump ground connector and/or a bolt securing connector that was improperly tightened to the floor. Either locality could lead to a pump failure that caused the engine to stall.


Rio Recall


Kia recalled over 6,000 Rondo LX and EX cars manufactured in 2008 and 2009 with a 2.4 liter engine. It was discovered the fuel pump on these cars was malfunctioning, causing insufficient fuel to enter the engine. The results of this problem included poor engine starting and hesitation.



In 2004, Kia announced a recall of its sub-compact Rios sold between 2001 and 2004. The recall repaired a pressure breakdown in the fuel injection system that impacted the engine's ability to begin.
