15. Position the fuel pump assembly in the tank along with a new base gasket under the fuel pump mounting plate and fasten the six nuts using the ratchet, ratchet extension and 8 mm socket.


16. Push the corresponding fuel hose against the quick-connect fitting until the tabs snap in place. Slightly pull the hose to make sure it has locked in place.


17.Install the other fuel hose on the fuel line and secure it with the spring clamp using the square-nosed pliers.


18. Plug the fuel pump electrical connector, position the fuel pump cover in place and secure the cover using the Phillips screwdriver.


19. Install the frame cover using the Phillips screwdriver.


20. Fold the rear seat bottom back in place.


21. Tighten the fuel filler cap.


22. Attach the negative battery cable using the wrench.
