Set a Toyota Celica Speedometer
Approximating any car, the Toyota Celica uses a speedometer to translate the movement of the wheels into an accurate reading of the motorcar's rush that can be communicated to the Chauffeur finished the instrument panel. When your speedometer no longer works, you no longer keep an accurate reading of how blue streak you are going which could be besides dynamite and deadline up costing you hundreds of dollars in speeding tickets. To place this occupation it is cardinal to remove the antique one and change it with a working unit.
Instructions
1. Regulate the hood of the Celica and remove the absent (ebon) battery cable from the battery with a 10 mm wrench.
2. Bag a screwdriver to remove the six screws enclosing the inside of the Celica's instrument panel. Once you admit removed these you can gently pull away the centre console to advance access to the speedometer.
3. Disconnect the speedometer cable from the back of the speedometer by using a crescent wrench to remove the follower that is connecting it to the back of the speedometer.
4.10. Slide the instrument panel back into the dashboard and screw it back into place with a screwdriver and the screws you removed in step two.11.
Remove the antiquated speedometer from the instrument panel and discard it.
7. Lay the modern speedometer into the instrument panel and adjust it so that it sits prerrogative inside of the instrument panel with the numbers centred.
8. Place the light into the new speedometer and twist it to secure it into place.
9. Reconnect the wiring and reattach the speedometer cable using a crescent wrench and the nut you removed.
Disconnect the wiring from the back of the speedometer by pushing the tabs on the wiring harnesses to Proceeds them.5. Remove the brilliant on the back of the speedometer by gently twisting it until it comes outside.6.
Reattach the negative (black) battery cable to the Celica's battery and secure it into place with a wrench.
