Become An Automotive Painter

Automotive painters business on all kinds of vehicles, from motorcycles to institute buses. Apply to a certification program in college. Certification is voluntary, but it's still an attractive qualification to potential employers. To become certified, you must complete an apprenticeship that combines classroom instruction with on-the-job experience.The apprenticeship period usually lasts two to three years. Ultimate of the program, you must pass an exam to become a certified automotive painter.



Accept various gigantic institute courses that relate to this position, provided feasible. Suggested courses include creative arts, business, automotive technology, manufacturing and industrial technology and computers.


2. Some chore in autobody shops, depiciton older vehicles that have honorable been repaired or that chalk up simply disoriented their luster. Others endeavor on Industry lines, representation latest vehicles.

Instructions

1. Apprenticeship programs are typically offered through community colleges and technical high schools.


3. Participate in a co-op placement or internship if it is available at your college. You'll get to work alongside an automotive painter and experience first-hand what they do. Although you'll not be performing the work yourself, you will get a feel for the work environment. You will also be able to list the experience on your resume.
