Choose A Fuel Filter On The Cadillac Escalade

A clogged fuel filter prevents fuel from reaching the engine. Provided you suspect a doubt, it's blessing to set and alternate the filter as soon as credible. Regular Motors recommends that you alter the fuel filter every 60,000 miles in any dispute.


Instructions


Your Escalade's fuel filter has two fuel lines connected to it and it looks like an over-sized "D" battery. The filter should have writing on it also as a large black arrow pointing toward the radiator.


Up thrust the rear left corner of your Escalade with a hydraulic jack. Distance a jack stand forward of the Gauze tank beneath the frame rail. Raise the support arm on the jack stand to equal the truck's current height. Lower your hydraulic jack slightly To admit the jack stand to support 50 percent of the truck's weight.


3. Slide under your Escalade from the rear bumper, on the driver's side. Locate your fuel filter on the inner side of the frame rail. It sits one foot from the gas tank, toward the engine.1. Fix a turn block in front of both of your Escalade's front tires. Kick both spin blocks firmly into apartment underneath the tires.2.
