Chevrolet produced the Monte Carlo Super Sport "SS" in 1970 and 1971, 1983 through 1988, and from 2000 until the Monte Carlo ceased Industry in 2007.
Last Generation
The Monte Carlo always had shared characteristics with the Chevy Impala. Still by the 2000s, the two cars were practically corresponding in appearance. The Monte Carlo two-door coupe debuted in 1970 as a personal sport-luxury automobile designed to compete against the Ford Thunderbird.Approximately 7,500 elsewhere of the 50,000 Monte Carlos produced in 2006 were Super Sports.
