4. Pull the broken spark plug wire off the distributor with your fingers.


5. The negative terminal is black. There may be a protective cover over the terminal that you must remove before you can reach the terminal. Loosen the bolt holding the negative terminal in place with a socket wrench.


Pull a broken terminal off the end of a spark plug or out of the distributor with a wrench or needlenose pliers.


7. Pull the broken spark plug wires out of the engine.
