Notice where the caliper and caliper bridge are located. Remove the brake pads by lifting them straight out or sliding them out the side. Pay attention to where each pad came from in order to properly clean and reuse each.
4. Break loose the mounting bolts and ratchet them all the way off. Remember to keep the lock washer with the bolt. Set these on a magnetic tray to avoid losing them. Once the bolts are removed, you can lift the caliper mounting brackets out of place.
