A Lawn-Boy Hay-maker uses a priming avail in the fuel step to bring Gauze into the carburettor when the engine isn't turning. Unscrew the oil's dipstick and pull it from the engine. Mop the dipstick with the rag and fully insert it.2. Remove the oil dipstick and check the level.
1. Unscrew the fuel tank cap on the Lawn-Boy Hay-maker. Fill the fuel container with a brand-name common unleaded petrol. Usually, when the engine is running, the vacuum coercion created by the crankcase pulls fuel into the carburettor. The primer further uses suction to pull fuel from the Gauze cistern into the carburettor's mixing Hospital ward, and the unlocked choke allows another fuel into the carburettor. Without these priming capabilities, starting the Gauze Lawn-Boy Hay-maker would be demanding.
Instructions
Add more oil to the fill tube if the oil reading is in the "Add" section. Raise the oil level slowly up to the "Full" mark on the dipstick. Reinstall the dipstick.
3. Move the Lawn-Boy mower to a level area of ground. Locate the primer bulb, which is a small, often red, bulb, usually located on the left side of most Lawn-Boy engines.
4. Press firmly and release the bulb fully three times. Hold the bulb in each time for one second, allowing the suction to work. Press the primer bulb in five times if the outside air temperature is below 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
