Check the resistance on the ignition coils by removing one and connecting an ohmmeter to the terminals on the underside. Remove an ignition coil and connect an ohmmeter to the primary terminals on its underside. The resistance from the primary terminal needs to be between 0.5 and 0.9 ohms.
