Whether you call for to alternate your van's windscreen, fascinating outside the advanced glass is the fundamental operation. Instructions
1. Disconnect and remove all objects that can amuse in the path of the windscreen. Unscrew the radio antenna provided it is in the front of the van. Run a wooden stick all the way across the outside of the rubber gasket if you are going to reuse it. This will break the adhesive seal holding the gasket to the car frame. This is needed if you are replacing the original manufacturer's glass.6.
Tape over the heating and air conditioning vents directly below the windscreen with masking tape. This is particularly needed provided the windscreen is cracked in any form, as it prevents shards from falling into the vents.
3. Observe the dispute of the rubber gasket seal surrounding the windscreen. Provided it has be remodelled cracked or hardened, it needs to be replaced with the windshield. If it is still in good condition, you can save it and use it with the new glass.
4. Cut into the rubber seal with a sharp, flat-bladed knife if you're not saving it. It needs to go in just outside the glass' edge and remain parallel with it; don't hit the glass itself. Cut through the rubber all the way around the circumference of the glass.
5. Detach the rearview mirror from the inside by removing its mounting screws and sliding it away of its mould. Remove the clips or bolts holding the wipers.2.
Enter the car and push the glass out from the inside. Push the wooden stick against the top of the glass while you push closer to the bottom with your foot. Don't kick at the glass. Have an assistant lay on the hood and catch the glass as it falls out.
7. Remove the rubber gasket from the glass if you can reuse it with the new windshield.
