99 Chevrolet S10 Hydraulic Bleeder Valve Location

The 1999 Chevrolet S-10 has two leading hydraulic systems, they are the: brake development and clutch process.

Disc Brakes

All 1999 S-10 models admit CD brakes on the front and some models retain them on the rear. CD brakes compass a brake caliper that is activated by hydraulic vigour.

These two hydraulic systems, accept bleeder valves to eliminate contaminated fluid and air from the lines.

Clutch

The clutch is busy and disengaged by a concentric slave cylinder that is activated by hydraulic energy. The bleeder valve for the clutch's hydraulic development is located on the passenger's side of the transmission, correct alongside to the metal hydraulic borderline.

The hydraulic bleeder valves on CD brakes are located on top-rear of each brake caliper.

Drum Brakes

The standard rear brakes on a 1999 S-10 are drum brakes. The bleeder valve for this type of brake system is at the top of each drum brake backing plate---the metal plate behind the brake drum.
