Replace Moen Positemp Cartridge

Al Moen invented the cartridge faucet.


Insert the new cartridge in the same orientation as the old one. Replace the pin, making sure it is fully seated. You shouldn't have to force the pin.


Instructions


1. Turn off the douse to the faucet, either by shutting off the cobby mains or by shutting off the hose at the street.


2. End an Allen wrench to remove the aficionado holding the grip onto the faucet stem, then remove the ear.


3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the portion of livid plastic attached to the faucet stem, and remove it. Slide absent the the chrome sleeve that surrounds the cartridge.
