Design A Football Helmet

The helmet is unquestionably one of the most pivotal elements of Safeguard for a football player To possess during a pastime. It's again the baggage of the uniform most seen by fans and can yet be a contrivance to intimidate opponents. There are big types of football helmet designs. Some are bare open while others are extravagant and abundant of colour, artwork and other additions. Here are some tips for designing a football helmet.

Instructions

1. Employment the party colours when designing a football helmet. This is probably the most accessible gratuity to get when creating the arrangement of a football helmet. Some football teams have a completely monochromatic helmet. The Cleveland Browns, Notre Dame and Penn State all use one single color for the design of the football helmet. These three teams also have some of the most recognizable jerseys/uniforms in all of sports. If you choose to have a plain helmet with one main color, you're pretty much finished after this step.

The helmet can be either the same as the primary or secondary colors found on the team jersey. Air Force, for example, wears a blue jersey with white letters and numbers. They wear white helmets with blue designs on them. Texas Tech, on the other hand, uses black as the primary color on both the helmets and the jerseys. If the team colors are blue and white, for example, placing a green sticker or decal on the helmet is just foolish.2. Paint the actual helmet one solid color to begin.

3. Place the team logo on either side of the football helmet. Many football and sports teams in general have more than one specific logo. Some teams use both an icon, such as a lion or bear, as well as a unique way of writing out the team name or letter to symbolize the team (“NY” for the Giants, “TT” for Texas Tech, GT for Georgia Tech). If your particular football team has more than one symbol, icon or logo, pick one and only one to place on the helmet. Placing letters on one side and an animal on the other will look foolish. You can paint the logo on the sides of the helmet or use stickers or decals depending on budget. Use the team's secondary color for the logo so it can be seen by players and fans alike.

4. Choose a type of face mask for the helmet and paint it according to your wishes. There are a few different types of face masks to choose from depending on how many vertical and horizontal bars you wish to have on the actual mask. You can paint the face mask either the primary or secondary color found on the helmet. Some teams use one color for the helmet and face mask while others like to mix it (i.e. white helmet with blue face mask).

5. Put the number of the player on the back of the football helmet. Most teams like to place this either on the bottom left or right of the helmet. Like the logo, you can use a sticker or decal to do this or simply paint the number on the helmet. Use the secondary color on the helmet for this so that the numbers are noticeable.

6. Place stickers on the back of the football helmet to reward players for outstanding play. This may sound a bit childish but the fact is many teams use this method. The stickers shouldn't be much bigger than a quarter so that they don't take up too much room on the helmet. They should also have a design which has something to do with the team, such as the first letter of the team name or a smaller version of the team logo.
