Disinfected wire moves freely washed-up a welding model liner.
4. Repeat the procedure to install a second lube pad to the welding wire. Spin the second pad to offset the slots in the pads.
Instructions
1. Turn off the power to the welder. Open the lid of the MIG welder to expose the spool of welding wire.
2. Remove the stainless steel clip from a wire lube pad. Align the slot in the pad with the welding wire coming from the spool and running into the welder's feeder rolls. Push the stainless clip over the slot to secure the pad to the wire.
3. Push the secured pad down the wire until it touches the tube located in front of the feeder rolls.
The spool of wire connected to a wire aliment welder gathers dirt and grinding dust. When the debris enters the MIG example, it causes friction between the welding wire and the inner liner of the margin. The increased friction causes the welding wire to accept in the liner, decreasing the efficiency of the welder. Welding lube pads serve the dual tendency of lubricating the inner liner of the welding first place while worry debris from entering the narrow opening of the advance's inner liner.
5. Saturate both lube pads with wire lubricant/cleaner.
6. Close the welder lid. Turn on the MIG welder.
