Nissan Brake Problems

In Walk 2010, Nissan Engine Co. issued a fame of over 500,000 vehicles for two big reasons -- Gauze gauge problems and issues with the brake pedals. At the generation of the remembrance, no accidents had resulted from either atom; the commemoration was purely precautionary.

Brake Issue

The memory was specifically targeting defective brake pedal pin assemblies. In three reported cases, the brake pin was worked loose, resulting in a loss of braking faculty or a lessening in braking enforcement. Nissan recalled 540,000 vehicles -- sports work vehicles, pick-up trucks and minivans -- in both recalls.

Affected Models

The brake recall specifically related to four models of vehicles with manufacturing elderliness from 2008 to 2010.Nissan maintains that the problem is caused by its suppliers, but covers all repairs for vehicles affected by the recall. Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Nissan and told when to bring the vehicle in for repair. In the event that your brake pedal is wobbling or feels loose, contact your Nissan dealer.

The models affected were the Nissan Titan, Nissan Armada, Nissan Objective and the Infiniti QX56. Models of the Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra manufactured between Jan and Parade 2006 and Oct 2007 and Jan 2008 may be affected by the remembrance.
