Switch The Back Loudspeakers With An Acura 1998 Rl

The 1998 Acura RL is equipped with a brace of 6X9-inch speakers in the rear deck. Manage the Timber of the machine. 2. From the inside of the car, slide each grille towards the center of the rear deck and then lift them off of the rear deck.


3. Loosen and remove the four, 8-millimeter screws from the perimeter of each speaker, using an 8-millimeter screwdriver. Lift each speaker out of the rear deck and disconnect the wiring harness plugged into each speaker.


4. Plug the wiring harnesses into each of the new speakers. Place the speakers in the openings and test operation. Secure the speakers with the 8-millimeter screws, using an 8-millimeter screwdriver.


5. Place the grilles back in position. From the inside of the trunk, secure each grille with the Phillips screws you removed in Step 1.
