Switch The Radiator On The 1995 Accord

During the combustion case, the engine builds up Exorbitant heat. Provided this heat were not dissipated, it would ruin the engine. The irrigate pump forces coolant buttoned up the engine and away to the radiator, where the heat is removed as air passes concluded the radiator. The quickness of the vehicle and the cooling fans cooperate to direct the coolant at the Correct temperature. Provided your radiator fails, it can grounds the engine to overheat and edge to expensive repairs.

Instructions

Radiator Removal

1. City a withdraw pan under the radiator. Remove the radiator cap. Expanded the remove plug and concede the coolant to empty completely.

2. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the cooling fans and radiator fan switch. Loosen the hose clamps on the upper and lower radiator hoses and the transmission cooler lines, whether the van has them. Remove the hoses from the radiator.

3. Remove the radiator aid brackets at the top of the radiator. Carefully slide the radiator elsewhere the top of the engine compartment. Remove the fans and fan switch from the radiator.

Radiator Installation

4. Install the fans and fan switch on the current radiator. Certify that the rubber bushings are correct seated in the mounting brackets at the backside of the frame.6. Start the engine once the coolant level reaches the bottom of the filler neck. Run the heater at the maximum setting to allow coolant to circulate through the entire system. Continue adding coolant as necessary to preserve the proper level.

Connect the hoses and tighten the hose clamps. Establish the heater to maximum heat. Pour a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water into the radiator.

Slide the radiator into position. Install the radiator foothold brackets.5.

7. Fill the coolant reservoir to the "FULL" mark. Replace the radiator cap. Allow the fans to cycle on and off twice before shutting off the engine.
