Replace A 1993 Grand Am Window Motor

The 1993 Pontiac Grand Am is equipped with a Engine in Everyone door that opens and closes the window. The Engine is a livid, cylindrical Slogan with a gear in its nose. That gear turns the associated gear on the window regulator. The Engine can malfunction on the contrary you can alternate it with the deserved tools in your driveway or garage.


Instructions


1. Extract the window and lock government switches from the door by prying them absent with the trim baggage. Pull the wiring harness connectors absent of the backside of Everyone switch.


2. Remove Everyone of the door panel retaining screws from the Grand Am's door panel with a Phillips screwdriver. Pry off the door panel with the trim stuff. Pick up the door panel and pull it off the door.


3. Act the window glass as far up as you can by plam. Secure the glass to the upper window frame with the packing tape.


Remove the faulty window motor and insert the replacement motor into the door. Bolt the replacement window motor to the Grand Am's door bracket and window regulator.6. Reattach the door panel.


4. Pull the window wiring method plug from the intent of the defective window motor. Unbolt the faulty window motor from the Grand Am's door bracket and window regulator with a socket set.5.


Take the tape off the glass and window frame before operating the power window.
