10. Spray the frame-mounted shock studs with a liberal amount of spray lubricant and allow it to soak in for a couple of minutes. Remove the upper nuts off the frame-mounted shock studs using the ratchet, extension and a socket.


11. Remove the lower bolt, nut and washer from the axle tube bracket, using the ratchet and a socket on one end and a hand wrench on the other.


12. Remove the shock absorber.


13. Install the new shock absorber by threading on the nuts to the upper studs first, then compress it to feed the bolt through the bottom bracket. Tighten both upper nuts and the lower shock bolt nut.


14. Repeat Steps 10-13 for the other side shock.


15. Lower the Jeep and remove the wheel chocks.
