2002 Hyundai Accent Fuel Filter Installation

6. Mount the fuel filter onto the frame of the vehicle with the mounting bracket and bolts. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Screw on the gas filler cap. Turn the vehicle on and let it idle for at least five minutes. Check for leaks from the fuel filter. If you find a leak, turn the vehicle off and re-tighten the fuel line to the fuel filter.
