Remove a 2001 Dodge Caravan Potency Window Engine
Anyone with basic automotive repair skills can remove the window Engine for replacement in approximately an interval in progression to save the labour fees charged by repair shops.
Instructions
1. Pry the window switch bezel, which surrounds the window switch, gone of the door panel using the trim tool.Force windows are a convenience baggage on the 2001 Dodge Company. 2. Pry the door panel trim pins loose using the trim tool. Insert the head of the trim tool between the door panel and the door on the trailing edge and pry each trim pin out until all the pins are unseated from the door.
3. Grab the leading and trailing edge of the door panel firmly and then lift the door panel up and off the door by hand. Push the window glass up to the top of the window frame by hand.
4. Adhere the packing tape to the inside of the glass, run it up and over the top of the door frame and down onto the outside of the glass to hold the window up during the rest of the repair.
5. Unbolt the window motor from the door and then unbolt the motor from the window regulator using the socket set. Unplug the wiring harness from the motor and pull the motor out of the door by hand.
