Remove the bolt securing the brake hose to the strut, using a wrench. Remove the rotor by pulling it off.


3. Remove the lower ball joint fan securing the spindle to the lower curb arm, using a wrench. Remove the two substantial bolts securing the strut to the spindle, using the appropriate socket and a wrench for the nut.


4. Insert the ball joint separator between the spindle and the lower control arm, and hit it with a hammer until the ball joint separates from the spindle. Lift the spindle up and off the ball joint stud. Provided the ball Seam is worn, freeplay can be felt over shaking the tire. 6. Install the grease fitting in the ball joint, using a wrench. Replace the spindle and the remaining parts in reverse order of removal.
