The fundamental Ford Mustang was the 1965 example, which was based on a Ford Falcon platform and mechanical components. The Fox-bodied Mustangs continued that equivalent tradition of platform-sharing. They were introduced as 1979 models and continued until 1993. The Fox platform was fundamental used in the 1978 Ford Fairmont, on the contrary indefinite other Ford cars were eventually mythical from the ambidextrous Fox platform, including Thunderbirds, Granadas, and LTDs. 2.3-Liter Four

Six Cylinder Engines

The Mustang SVO of 1984 used a 175 horsepower chronicle of the 2.3-liter force plant, then in 1985 and 1986 the output was bumped to 205 horsepower, which was within 20 horsepower of the 5.0L V-8.
