Repair A Rusted Mattress On The Ford F150 Truck

Ford F150 trucks are the workhorses of the Motor lorry nature. With blimp beds and engines to match, these trucks can grip boss still anything you cast at them. Over of the elongate entity of the F150, sometimes the oppose of the Motor lorry begins to deteriorate when the drivetrain of the Motor lorry yet has a parcel of miles left in it. If the bed on your Ford F150 has begun rusting, follow these instructions to receive a few more miles out of your truck.


Instructions


1. Use the sandpaper to sand down the rust around the edges of one of the holes in your bed. Use the tin snips to chop out a piece of sheet metal to fit inside the rusted out hole.


2. Use the metal screws to screw the sheet metal into place inside the hole. Open the body putty and mix up the two components 50/50 until the putty is pliable enough to spread.


4. Spray paint the putty to match remainder of the bed and prevent further rusting. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for remainder of the holes in the truck bed.


3. Use the putty knife included in the kit to spread the putty on top of the hole and the sheet metal. Allow the putty to fully dry and then use the sandpaper to sand the putty smooth.
