Convert or upgrade the windscreen on your Polaris snowmobile.
If the retainers are old and cracked, replace with new units.6. Close the hood and secure the hood latches.
Disconnect the two rubber hood latches located on each side of the hood surround and free the hood. Be careful not to extend the hood as well far back to avoid damage to it.
2. Fix the 4 slots on the underside of the dashboard that the windscreen tabs push wrapped up. There are two on Everyone side of the hood surround.
3. Set the rubber retainer rings that occupation the windshield tabs in assign. Using your fingers, pull on the tab connected to the retainer rings and stretch back and pull outward to remove Everyone of these retainers.
4. Gently speedy the hood and countdown from one extent to remove the windscreen. Pull upward on the windscreen removing the tabs from the slots. Go on around the windshield until all tabs are out. Remove the windshield from the sled.
5. Install the new windshield by aligning the end tab on one side of the windshield and working around to the opposite side. Carefully open the hood and attach the rubber retainers to the windshield tabs.Prepare early for the upcoming snowmobile season. Snowmobile windshields can crack, fade, or easily be broken. Windscreen replacements and upgrades are available from your limited Polaris dealer. Changing the windscreen to a newer style or customizing your sled with a contrasting colour of windscreen is an inexpensive hook to restore the glad eye of your snowmobile.
