Instructions


1. Lift the hood of the vehicle and disconnect the antagonistic battery cable. Lower the hood.

7. Take the right-side air spring axle and position it above the rear axle. Install the upper bracket to the frame by inserting the bolts into the brackets slots. Fasten all four bolts to the frame with a wrench.


8. Fasten the lower bracket to the axle with the axle strap. Hand-tighten the nuts in the bracket to fasten them to the strap.


9. Install the bale clamp around the lower bracket using nuts. Hand-tighten the nuts.


10. Tighten the nuts on the bale clamp with a socket wrench. Then tighten the nuts on the nuts in the bracket connecting to the axle strap. Go the right side of the vehicle and use the socket wrench to tighten the bolts in the air spring brackets to the vehicle.


11. Install the airline tubing. Unravel the tubing. Cut between two even lengths with a pair of cable cutters. Insert one end over the top of the air spring and insert it into the fitting.


12. Install the air inflation valve in an accessible location. Use the washer and nuts to install. Drive a 5 1/16-inch hole in the corner of the vehicle's frame.


13. Run the tube to the hole and insert the end into the air inflation valve. Use a nylon tie to tie the tubing in place so that it is not getting in the way.


The brackets are noted "Left" and "Licence." Install the lower bracket on the backside of the air spring. Appliance a 3-inch socket wrench and turn it clockwise to tighten the bracket securely.3. Turn the air spring over.


Inflate the air springs at 50 pounds per square inch. Insert the gauge into the air inflation valve and inflate the springs.


16. Spray the tubing connection with water and water on the fitting to see if there is a leak. Expanding bubbles will appear around the fitting to indicate there is a leak. Tighten the fitting until the leak stops.


17.Raise the hood of the vehicle and reconnect the negative battery cable. Lower the hood.
