Switch The Passenger Quarter Panel On The Toyota Rav4

The Toyota RAV4 is a diminutive SUV with a sample 4-cylinder Toyota engine and space for approximately 5 passengers. The passenger side quarter panel is secured to the frame of the RAV4 by approximately 10 bolts and nuts. The passenger side front tire must be removed from the frame, very as the revolve fit embrace inside the trundle housing, to remove the quarter panel.

Instructions

Tighten the bolts using the socket and ratchet.6. Replace the passenger side tire to the frame of the RAV4.

2. Remove the securing bolts that are holding the wheel well in place on the RAV4's frame. Pull the wheel well's cover off the RAV4's frame and set it aside.

3. Remove the bolts securing the passenger side quarter panel to the frame inside the wheel well using the corresponding socket from the socket set and the ratchet. Place the securing bolts in a clean spot where you will not lose them.

4. Open the RAV4's hood and locate the securing bolts holding the passenger side quarter panel to the frame. (The securing bolts will be on the edge of the upper engine compartment where the side of the hood rests.) Remove the securing bolts using the corresponding socket for the bolts, and the ratchet. Remove the passenger side quarter panel from the RAV4's frame.

5. Place the RAV4's replacement quarter panel onto the frame on the passenger side. Insert the securing bolts into the support holes on the quarter panel and frame inside the wheel well.1. Loosen the lug nuts on the passenger side tire using the tire iron. Raise the passenger side front end of the Toyota RAV4 using the car jack. Remove the lug nuts from the tire, and pull the tire off the RAV4's frame.

Replace the lug nuts to the tire. Lower the RAV4's passenger side to the ground and tighten the lug nuts. Close the hood.
