Trobleshoot and fix Hyundai Monitors

Misaligned Screen


1. Provided the Shade isn't filling the exposure completely or provided the Shade's position is off, push the "Refreshment" Press-stud (located on the backside front of the recorder) to bring up the On-Screen Exhibit (OSD) aliment.

6. Turn the monitor around so the back panel is easily accessible.


7. Inspect the power cord connection to the AC jack. Unplug the power cord from the jack, and examine the metal contacts for dirt or grime. If the contacts are dirty, clean them with a clean, dry cloth. Plug the power cord receptor securely back into the AC jack.


8. Examine the length of the cord for damage, such as cuts or tears. If the cord is damaged, replace it.


9. Unplug the power cord from the AC wall outlet (which will reset the connection), and examine the receptors for grime. Clean the receptors if necessary.


10. Plug a different device into the power outlet to confirm that the outlet is functioning properly. Unplug the electrical device, and plug the Hyundai power cord into the wall outlet, confirming a snug connection.

11. Turn the monitor's back panel toward you.


12. Locate the signal cable connection (to the right on the panel), and unscrew the cable from its jack. Inspect the pins for damage, such as missing or bent pins. If pins are missing or bent, repair or replace the cord. Gently reconnect the signal cable to the "Signal In" jack, and tighten the screws to secure the connection.


13. Examine the signal cable for dents or cuts. Replace the cord if it's damaged.
